A grand weekend of craft, music and culture

Join the Cow Head Conservation & Heritage Committee and friends for the the second annual Gros Morne Fall Fest and Craft Fair—a lively weekend featuring local musicians, crafts, and food with games, outdoor hikes and activities for all ages.
The Fall Fest developed out of the annual Cow Head Craft Fair and remains rooted in the traditions of the region. Visitors can take in fiddle workshops, storytelling and traditional dancing during the festival. A Friday night moose dinner at the church hall is one of the culinary offerings. Visitors can also try a traditional moose stew or soup and sandwiches luncheon featuring local music.
Music Events include:
Kitchen Party following the official opening—Thursday 8pm at the Shallow Bay Motel
Charlie Payne, Darren Vincent and Mena Lodge—Friday 7:30pm at the Shallow Bay Motel
Musical Soiree with Daniel Payne and friends—Saturday night at the Warehouse Theatre 9pm
Gospel Concert—Sunday 7pm at St. Mary’s Anglican Church
Crafts
For crafts enthusiasts, events include a fibre arts exhibit, craft workshops and demonstrations, and the Craft Fair on Sunday, October 5.
Workshops are open for registrations, there is limited enrollment so act soon to avoid disappointment.
